My Isuzu Trooper would not shift. I think I called every garage in town. Everyone told me I needed a new transmission. My last call was to Tim. He explained that he needed to diagnose the problem, then tell me what was wrong and how much it will cost to fix. I reluctantly allowed him to tow it into his business. The problem turned out to be a bad electrical part cost $175.00 and I was back on the road. Everyone else wanted to replace my transmission and charge me a lot of money! Hey Tim.... Thanks for calling to check on my car. I have not gotten back with you as I have been buried at work. I am sending this to you at 11:20pm on a Friday night if that tells you anything! Well as far as my BMW is concerned I am glad to report she is doing quite well. I took a trip to Tennessee just a few days after picking the car up from you. That was nice to let everything break back in easing down the highway for about 1200 miles round trip. I now have put over 6K miles on her since you fixed her. So I am extremely happy with the quality of your work and the amount you charged for it. I also have to remind you that the BMW dealer diagnosed my car with a bad transmission that was going to set my back around $6,000.00. But you pinpointed the exact problem and using all BMW parts and fluids repaired it for around 25% of that cost. For that I have praised your name to all who care to hear about it.
