I have been using Florida Transmission Repair for many years because I have developed a trusting relationship with the owner, Tim. I have peace of mind knowing that I get a good value for the money and that they always back up their work. Tim is very personable and operates with such integrity...that is hard to find these days. He will not do unnecessary work and, in fact, he will advise against it. Florida Transmission Repair has a small-shop feel and they are very customer-focused. The mechanics are easy to work with and, if they make a mistake, they will make it right, no matter what it takes or costs.

I hope this doesn't sound like a commercial... I highly recommend Florida Transmission to anyone that needs transmission service or parts. I recently had another transmission shop attempt to repair and fix my transmission with no success. Dealing with them turned into a huge nightmare that to this day has not ended. Not only did Florida Transmission fix the damage from the previous shop they also provided great documentation, friendly customer service, a quick turn around at a reasonable price. Hey Tim.... Thanks for calling to check on my car. I have not gotten back with you as I have been buried at work. I am sending this to you at 11:20pm on a Friday night if that tells you anything! Well as far as my BMW is concerned I am glad to report she is doing quite well. I took a trip to Tennessee just a few days after picking the car up from you. That was nice to let everything break back in easing down the highway for about 1200 miles round trip. I now have put over 6K miles on her since you fixed her. So I am extremely happy with the quality of your work and the amount you charged for it. I also have to remind you that the BMW dealer diagnosed my car with a bad transmission that was going to set my back around $6,000.00. But you pinpointed the exact problem and using all BMW parts and fluids repaired it for around 25% of that cost. For that I have praised your name to all who care to hear about it.

My Isuzu Trooper would not shift. I think I called every garage in town. Everyone told me I needed a new transmission. My last call was to Tim. He explained that he needed to diagnose the problem, then tell me what was wrong and how much it will cost to fix. I reluctantly allowed him to tow it into his business. The problem turned out to be a bad electrical part cost $175.00 and I was back on the road. Everyone else wanted to replace my transmission and charge me a lot of money! I highly recommend Florida Auto and Transmission Repair! They are incredibly friendly and professional. They rebuilt my transmission and saved me over $1000 from what was quoted to me by a difference repair shop. My car runs perfectly ever since and I will definitely be coming back for all of my car care needs.

I called Tim in the first place because I wanted to see if he could change all the fluid in the transmission. I was trying my best to fix the problems myself. He told me you can`t do that because of the fluid in the convertor and instead of making me feel stupid for trying, he gave some advice on what I could do. But the transmission was too far gone for any external fixes and so I brought it in. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was, clean enough to decorate. I knew right then I wanted Tim to do the job. He did and the prices were comparable to AAMCO`s prices from 10 years ago. It is my daughters car and when she got it back she called me up laughing and said it runs like new. Well,what are daughters for if you can`t help them out? Makes me feel good. Thanks Tim.

Honest, Caring and Professional! After being taken advantage of by another transmission repair shop to the sum $1,000. I met Tim the owner whom was very competent and resolved my transmission problem among other problems with my vehicle. I would highly recommend Florida Tramsmission Repair in Orlando Florida.

Tim replaced my transmission a couple of years ago. It is working well and the annual maintenance ensures no problems.

What can I say, finally a company that actually cares about and looks out for their customers. The work & price are always discussed before work begins. The work is done professionally and in a timely manner with very fair prices. Everyone was very personable and easy to talk to, the service was great and they informed me of everything that was going on with my truck, so there were no surprises.

Florida Transmission Repair has worked on multiple cars for me over the years. They have done 3 transmission rebuilds and one clutch/manual transmission, as well as more minor repairs. They do quality work at a reasonable price. I continue to use their service because, first and foremost, Tim is honest and has integrity. When it comes to auto repair, this is not always the case.
